>Another  extensive and beautiful article (they also covered L’Auberge Provencale Inn a while back) in Italian home decor magazine Casa Chic on Woolverton Inn featuring lots of Jumping Rocks photos. Congratulations to Carolyn and Bob, the current owners/innkeepers. We were part owners of The Woolverton from 1999 until 2004, when we left to start Jumping Rocks Photography–so we are proud too!

Annarita, the editor of the publication told us that she decided to cover Woolverton after reading a blog post we wrote about returning to the Inn in December, 2009. For those of you that think blogging is a waste of time…maybe not!

The Casa Chic photo editors sourced all the images from Jumping Rocks Media Bank, our press relations/photo storage tool.

>Have you seen the new Select Registry guidebook?? It’s very handsome! If you are familiar with the SR books of the recent past, you will notice a marked change in the format–the new edition is larger, with larger images and a fresher design. We both really like it!

Congratulations to the inns who made the cover–all four were Jumping Rocks clients:

Pictures were selected from Jumping Rocks Media Bank, our publicity and press photo service that now contains over 12,000 images.

>SquamLake2010 PorchDining %288%29 >Excellent Summer Cocktail from Squam Lake InnWe happily returned to Squam Lake Inn in Holderness, NH to get some summer shots and photos of their new fun dining space – a rustic, porch-like dining room. It was great returning and as we’ve mentioned in a previous post, we love the vibe Cindy and Rae have created–unique, warm and special. To get Mark motivated to style this new dining space, Rae whipped up a cocktail we’d never had: A St-Germain Cocktail.  If you have not tasted St-Germain Liqueur, it is a not-too-sweet concoction from France (in a gorgeous bottle!) made from Elderflowers. It is fabulous!

The Recipe:
2 parts Brut Champagne or Dry Sparkling Wine
1½ parts St-Germain
2 parts Sparkling Water or Club Soda

singlered >Excellent Summer Cocktail from Squam Lake Inn Method: Fill a tall Collins glass with ice. Add Champagne first, then St-Germain, then Club Soda. Stir completely. Garnish with a lemon twist, making sure to squeeze essential oils into the glass.

We love the relaxed charm of the decor at the inn…simple, straightforward and comfortable…especially the front porch.
